Second strike: MARVEL’S THE PUNISHER Season 2 greenlit

After dealing with a top-secret military conspiracy and the betrayal of his best friend, Frank Castle thought he could find peace at last.

As it turns out, he was just getting started — and now, he’s got more work to do.

Unsurprisingly, Netflix announced that Marvel’s The Punisher will officially return at an as-of-yet-unannounced date. Check out the official Marvel’s The Punisher Season 2 teaser video announcement, as posted on Facebook.

Marvel’s The Punisher follows the gun-toting vigilante after he faked his death at the end of Marvel’s Daredevil Season 2.

After punishing those responsible for the death of his family, Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) uncovers a conspiracy deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he is on a mission to uncover the truth.
